Most air conditioning complaints trace back to the day the system went in, not to the equipment itself. Sizing and installation quality matter more than the badge on the cabinet.
An oversized system is the classic mistake. It cools the air fast, satisfies the thermostat, and shuts off before it has run long enough to pull humidity out — leaving you with a house that is cold and clammy, and a compressor wearing itself out short-cycling. We size by load calculation, not by replacing whatever was there before.
We are a factory-authorized Carrier dealer, so that is the line we know best and stock parts for. Every installation includes the details that matter most: correct line-set sizing, a proper condensate plan, duct modifications where the existing plenum will not suit the new cabinet, and airflow measured and set at commissioning rather than assumed.
Estimates on new equipment are free. Financing is available with approved credit.

What the quote includes
Estimates on new equipment are free, and financing is available with approved credit. See our financing options.
- Sizing
- A load calculation for your house, rather than a match to the old unit. Oversizing is the classic mistake.
- The details that matter
- Correct line-set sizing and evacuation, a proper condensate plan, and duct or plenum work where the new cabinet needs it.
- Commissioning
- Airflow measured and set on installation day, rather than assumed from the label.
- How long it takes
- A straight changeout usually takes one day. Allow an extra day for ductwork, electrical work or a new line set.

Made to fit
Where the new cabinet needs duct or plenum work, we fabricate it in our own shop.

Tested and explained
We measure airflow, verify the charge, set the controls and show you how everything works before we leave.

Before you book
How long does an installation take?
A straight changeout is usually one day. Add a day if ductwork, electrical or a new line set is involved, and more for a full new system in a house that has never had one. We will tell you which yours is at the estimate.
Do I have to replace the furnace at the same time?
Not always, but often it is the cheaper path. The indoor coil and blower have to match the new outdoor unit for the rated efficiency to be real, and a twenty-year-old furnace paired with a new condenser rarely delivers what the label promises. We will price both ways.
What efficiency should I buy?
It depends on how long you plan to stay and how much you run it. Higher SEER2 equipment costs more up front and pays back over years, so a house you are selling in two is a different calculation from one you will retire in. We will do that math with you rather than for you.
Is financing available?
Yes, three routes — Credit For Comfort takes applications online in minutes and considers FICO scores down to 500, Eastman Credit Union takes an online application too, and Wells Fargo Bank, N.A. offers special terms with approved credit. Compare them and apply on our financing page.
