Stock fittings assume a standard building, but very few buildings are standard, and that gap is where many airflow problems begin.
We run our own sheet metal shop, so a duct run is fabricated to the space available rather than assembled from whichever stock elbows come closest to fitting. Fewer joints and turns mean less resistance, and a system that moves the air it was rated for.
Having our own shop also saves time. A transition for a new furnace cabinet or a custom plenum for an awkward closet is made here rather than ordered and waited for. On a commercial job where the business is open, that can make all the difference.
We take on residential and commercial work, from new fabrication to modifications of existing ductwork.

What the shop makes
- Custom duct runs, plenums and transitions
- Crushed flex duct replaced with hard pipe
- Return air and filter cabinets
- Modifications to existing ductwork
- Fabricated to the building, not to a catalog
- Fast turnaround because it is made in-house
- Residential and commercial
- Fitted by the same crew that made it
Made in our Church Hill shop
The ductwork we make is installed by the same crew that made it.
- Duct runs and plenums
- Fabricated to the space available, instead of pieced together from stock elbows.
- Transitions
- A new unit almost never matches the old opening. The transition is made here instead of ordered and waited for.
- Existing ductwork
- Modified as readily as new work — adding return air, resizing a starved trunk, replacing crushed flex with hard pipe.
- Why it matters
- Every unnecessary elbow, reducer and flex-duct sag adds resistance, and resistance costs airflow.

Air where it should go
With less resistance in the run, the system delivers the airflow it was designed for.

Why does custom ductwork matter?
Because every unnecessary elbow, reducer and flex-duct sag adds resistance, and resistance costs airflow. A system starved of airflow is less efficient, less comfortable, and harder on its own components. Fabricating to the space removes those compromises.
Can you make a part for another contractor’s job?
Please ask. Our own installation schedule comes first, but we can often help. Call the shop and describe what you need.
Do you modify existing ductwork or only make new?
Both. Many of our jobs involve correcting an existing system: adding return air, resizing a starved trunk, replacing crushed flex with hard pipe.
