Whole-House Dehumidifier
Ducted, automatic humidity control for the whole house.
If your air conditioner keeps the thermostat happy but the house still feels damp, the problem is moisture, not temperature.
The usual cause is an oversized air conditioner. It drives the temperature down so quickly that it shuts off long before it has run enough to condense much water out of the air. You end up cold and humid, which is the least comfortable combination there is — and the one that grows mold in closets and around windows.
The proper fix is correctly sized equipment, ideally two-stage or variable-speed so it runs longer and gentler. Where replacing the system is not planned, a whole-house dehumidifier tied into the ductwork handles it directly. Basements and crawlspaces frequently need one regardless of what the rest of the house is doing.
